Within the framework of the use of the Site (notion defined in the preamble of the present legal notices), SARL PHOTO ROVERS, hereinafter The Company, in its capacity as data controller, is likely to collect and/or process personal data concerning the Internet user who is an adult natural person, also called “User or Consumer”.

The Company is committed to respecting the rules for the protection of the privacy of the Users of its Site.

Thus, the entire process of collecting and processing personal data implemented within the framework of the services accessible on the Site complies with the applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data and in particular the provisions of the amended "informatique et libertés" law of January 6, 1978 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016) or GDPR.

In this sense, certain personal information may be requested from Users in order to be able to identify them, respond to their request(s), offer them personalized offers and services, improve the Site and lastly and above all, listen to them.

Commitment to data protection

The Company undertakes to comply with the regulations applicable to all the processing of personal data that it may implement through appropriate technical and organizational measures in order to guarantee a level of security adapted to the risk inherent in its processing operations, meet regulatory requirements and protect the rights and data of data subjects when designing processing operations.

The Company's subcontractors will have the same level of protection of personal data as the latter.

Personal data concerned
  • The User is likely to communicate to the Company information or personal data which directly or indirectly allows the latter to be identified, such as, for example, without limitation, the surname, first name, postal address, telephone number IP address, telephone number, email, date of birth, information relating to the credit card (Name of card holder, card number, expiry date, cryptogram), a credit card number loyalty linked to the Company, etc.

  • It is recalled that the personal information requested by the Company from the User is for some of them mandatory and for others optional. Mandatory information is marked with an asterisk and is essential for the final validation of the operation, service or property chosen by the User. Regarding optional information, it will allow the Company to provide the User with additional support under additional services.

  • All personal data declared by the User, as well as those that he would have to declare, beyond his own personal data, to the Company are under his sole and entire responsibility.


Methods of collecting personal data

The User's personal data, which may be collected by the Company, is collected primarily when:

  • navigation on the Company's Site:

  • when purchasing and paying for the rental/stay/reservation as defined in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale;

  • when purchasing cycling and photo equipment;

  • when filling out various collection forms and in particular the “contact” form on this Site;

  • when filling out the risk acknowledgment form;

  • when subscribing to the e-newsletter;

  • when the User posts comments on the Company's social media pages;

  • and in general when the User transmits his personal data in any other way.

Purposes of processing and legal bases 

Personal data is collected on the Site for the purpose of contacting the User, responding to his requests, his needs, informing him and allowing him to benefit from offers, events and advantages on products and/or services. offered by the Company, as well as, in the event of the express and prior consent of the User collected at the time of the collection of personal data, third party partners or not of the Company.

The Users' personal data will in no case be communicated to third parties, except with their express and prior consent obtained at the time of the collection of their personal information or in the event of requests from an administration or a judicial authority.

The processing of personal data implemented is legally based on the Users' consent, the performance of a contract, the legitimate interest and the legal, regulatory or administrative obligations incumbent on the Company.

The data is mainly used for the purposes of booking expeditions, stays, rentals, purchasing products (as defined in the General Conditions of Renting), supplying specific benefits or services: prospecting, loyalty, animation, commercial information, satisfaction surveys, organization of contests, new services and products intended to improve the customer experience, statistical studies, after-sales service, processing of requests and/or complaints


More specifically, the User's personal data is used:

  • to allow the User to benefit from all the services or services available on the Company's Site: e-newsletter, reservations, contact, assistance and complaints, etc.,

  • to allow the User to browse our Site,

  • to best match our information, notifications, offers and other forms of services to the interests of the User,

  • to be enriched by sharing certain information with privileged business partners with the aim of improving our knowledge of the User's centers of interest and allowing us to send him offers and other forms of personalized services (subject to the agreement of the User when required and compliance with the right of opposition, in accordance with the rules applicable to commercial prospecting),

  • to ensure the security and safety of the commercial transaction(s) related to purchases or reservations made by the User on the Site, but also the monitoring and management of related orders and invoices;

  • to comply with the legal, regulatory or administrative obligation(s) on which the Company depends

Personal data of minors

The Company does not collect or process personal data relating to children under the age of 16 (hereinafter “Minor Child”) without the prior consent of the parents or holders of parental responsibility with regard to the child.

If personal data concerning the Minor Child is collected via the Company's Site, the parents or holders of the exercise of parental authority have the possibility of opposing it by contacting the Company at the address indicated below.

Duration of retention of personal data

The Company undertakes to keep the User's personal data for a period not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which they are processed. In addition, the Company stores the User's personal data in accordance with the retention periods imposed by the law and the applicable regulations in force or imposed by the administration.

These retention periods are defined according to the processing purposes implemented by the Company and take into account in particular the applicable legal provisions imposing a precise retention period for certain categories of data and any applicable limitation periods as well as the recommendations of the CNIL concerning certain categories of data processing.

The data collected from Users is kept, by default, for a period of three years from its collection or, where applicable, from the last contact or the last order and then deleted.

Persons or organizations having access to the Users' data

The data collected on the Site may be communicated to the personnel authorized to use this data within the Company, to its partners (hotels, credit card company, etc.), within the framework of the accomplishment of all or part of the services referred to above and to any duly authorized judicial authority or administration.

Right of access and rectification

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 and the  “Informatique et Libertés” law of January 6, 1978 in its latest version, the User has a right of access, rectification, deletion of personal data concerning him, a right to limit processing, a right of opposition, a right to the portability of his data (request must be justified and not excessive relating to data provided by the User – Exclusion of the right to portability for personal data processed on a legal basis other than consent or the performance of a contract) and of the right to define directives relating to the conservation, deletion and communication of his personal data after his death.
